I guess they heard you vio lol

vio • 2 years ago

lol now all they need to do is communicate with other decent subbers like LManime and animexin to get everything subbed instead of leaving some to slip through the cracks like The King of Ten Thousand Domain. I've seen it subbed on two other sites but the subs arent as good as they would be with either of those three.

Dase • 2 years ago

Mhm, was surprised also to see that the managed to get Feng Qi Luoyang as well, they usually get it from LM, but the latest subs didnt have their logo and LM didnt have the latest ones, well when I checked a few weeks ago, but the subs were similar to LM, I wonder if a team left their group

Oh yeah about the 10 minutes donghuas, seems live action drama did the same thing, from what I read it is mainly to target people that doesnt have time, mainly those on the go, sitting on trains and buses so they watch one episode then get up and if they have to transit far by moving to another train or bus then they can sit down and watch another episode of the same series or a different one. Seems that psychologically it is less annoying and more appealing for people to think they finished an episode rather than to pause and come back to it, sometimes people lose track where they have paused, fancy that eh? lol

vio • 2 years ago

lol that is actually funny because I used to do that myself when I went uni because it was a 2 hour journey there and 2 hours back home. Sitting wasnt an option for two reasons. Firstly, because the trains were packed and secondly... I saw a documentary about the seats on trains and buses and they ran tests on the fabric. During those tests the seats showed several signs of different faeces on it from pet animals, rats/mice and people.

Dase • 2 years ago

Yeah you can be surprise if you take a cotton bud and just lay it on the seat and then test it for bacteria and other things, the results will scare you. One of my friend used to work in a microbiology lab, after a few months, she developed germaphobia. a hygienic obsessive compulsion disorder, if you shake her hands (even when covid isnt around( she would whip out her antibacterial sanitizer and then head towards the bathroom, people used to joke about her cleaning public toilets when she goes in there, I found it sad, she said she cant help it, her hands feels hot when she touches something, and to prove a point if you held her hands, it would be very very warm. She actually mentally causes her body to heat up involuntary

Luckily the trains here are relatively new, and they replace the trains every 7 years I think? And they do clean it every night and replace the seats every year or so, but I stopped using public transport a long time ago, my work place is 20 minutes drive during peak traffic and it is 10 minutes non peak and I have my own parking lol

vio • 2 years ago

I saw something in the past about germaphobe who was washing their hands 25-30 times a day to the point there skin was rough and sore. I cant recall if it was a documentary or news article because it was a while ago. In a way I feel sorry for them because they must go through a lot of trouble because of that and finding a partner must be twice as hard due to always second guessing if they are clean or not. To be honest, even though they joked about it, your friend more than likely does clean the toilet before sitting down on it as its most likely become like a second nature to her.
Even though I dont have germaphobia, I do think similar to that sometimes. We have two restaurant chain's here where people can grab a plate and help themselves to the food they want then pay after. Places like that make me cringe because multiple people touch the utensils to pick up the food to put it on their plates and guaranteed not all of them wash their hands after going toilet.

Dase • 2 years ago

Yeah, a lot of guys couldnt take her cleanliness and broke up with her, but luckily she found someone who was very caring and understanding, married and just had a baby, she is a little better now, she quit her job and said she will be looking for work outside of microbiology, probably chemical or metallurgy analytics

Yeah which is why, hot pot is best for sharing meals :D the food is cooked in the pot even though people pick the food using their saliva coated chopsticks :P which is funny if someone spat in the hot pot no one will touch it, but it is ok to lick your chopsticks and put it into the pot lol

Talking about food a new food anime came out Deaimon

vio • 2 years ago

dammit you made me cringe lol
we have a different version of hotpot here so there would be no saliva coated chopsticks lol
it's kind of like a pie but you can see for yourself by searching for "Lancashire hotpot". Also, that made me think about Japan's version of BBQ's and their saliva from the chopsticks hitting the cooking tray the meat rests on.

Dase • 2 years ago

lol sorry 😆

Hmm.. if i add cheese on top on the Lancashire hotpot then put it back in the over for 15 minutes it will become a gratin!!

Lol especially shabu shabu, which is a Japanese hot pot

I could tell you another cringey but funny story.....

When I was at primary school, year 4, coca cola was a luxury at school, a boy brought one for lunch, he was sitting with boys on one side, the girls on the other, and he opened the can, everyone heard it, cause wasnt often we hear a pah!sssssssssssssii sound, he took a sip then stopped, he got up and placed the coke down and walked towards the boys' toilet, then stopped and stared back at all of us, he walked back to the can, and then spat on top of the can where the opening is then grinned at us and walked to the toilet while whistling thinking no one will drink his coke

He was right no one would have, as he grabbed towards his can of coke he stopped and stared at his coke can

It was covered with everyone's spit 🤣

vio • 2 years ago

lmfao
That wasnt cringey, I can understand why he did it because I had some who helped themselves to other people's stuff in primary school too. Drink sharing was a thing too and it didnt really bother most people like it's shown in anime as a indirect kiss. I bet that boy wasnt happy that he couldnt drink it no more.

was it one of those small fun size cans or the 300ml ones?

Dase • 2 years ago

lol the boy went to the teacher to complain, no one got into trouble though, since everyone said he was the one who spat on his own can of coke lol If that happened now, parents will be involved, lol

vio • 2 years ago

I dunno what to say to be honest except his lucky he wasnt in primary school with me. Food fights happened at least once a week during dinner time so he probably would have been complaining about that. Then there's the school yard football... it was more about kicking each other's legs than going for the football. The kids had more of a backbone and handled any issues themselves during break times instead of running to the teachers.

Dase • 2 years ago

Yeah, most kids sorted it out amongst themselves without having to go to the teacher, most of them were after school stuff, if a person didnt turn up then it is considered that person lost, and everything is wiped clean the next day, unless they want to carry on lol

It was the normal sized can, I dont think the 300ml came out then in Australia, I know the US had them earlier

vio • 2 years ago

did you get a chance to look through that list I gave you on the tv series? Just wondering if you found something to watch that you liked.

Dase • 2 years ago

I started on Mandalorian and Boba Fett, since I was told they complimented each other, I was kinda hesitant to watch a Star Wars series but it is pretty good Battlestar Galactica I have watched up to season 2 then stopped a while back, got a bit too weird, Warehouse 13, watched 4 episodes, then stopped

Havent touched Dareveil yet, I watched the Arrow before but got bored of it, so I am worried about that happening again

And looks like the bots are back

vio • 2 years ago

watch Mandalorian first then Boba Fett or you may spoil a bit of the story. It's a shame about warehouse 13 but its understandable its not to everyone's taste. Hope you find more you enjoy :)

Dase • 2 years ago

I still have some more on your list to go through :)
Warehouse 13 kind of made me feel like the X-files but running from a basement lol

vio • 2 years ago

lol its a long list to go through. It was from a few years of watching over time. I stopped watching x-files because there was to much mystery involved and it felt like they didnt explain much. Warehouse 13, I think I liked that one because of the magical artefacts how they they are created. For example, if you have a favourite piece of jewellery you like to wear and if your life is filled with either kindness or malice, when you pass away that jewellery will become an artefact based on what you was like in life. In a way it was very similar to the treasures seen in donghua's.

Dase • 2 years ago

I will probably give it another go later lol

vio • 2 years ago

its ok if you dont like it, dont force yourself to watch it if your not enjoying it. there are plenty of others to look at :P

Ok what is the purpose of killing the beast again? At least in soul land you gain rings/powers but I don't get/see the point here

Dase • 2 years ago

It's for training and earning points for getting into the top ten ranking list which will be given rewards of spirit stones (currency used in this world), access to the third floor of the library for the top three

Different cores provides different strengths and attributes to who absorbs them, also they can be used in alchemy, weapons smithing and artifacts crafting
